Use battery separators to prevent the early failure of batteries.
Battery Separators
A battery separator is an insulator placed between the opposing polarity plates in lead-acid batteries. These battery separators help prevent electrical short circuits while allowing current to flow. These separators help prevent shorts, which are a reason for the early failure of batteries.
A battery separator must also be able to provide protection from chemical corrosion, oxidation, as well as protect against the release of chemicals from the separator that might affect the plates.
