Electrical insulation, also called "dielectric", is a material that resists the flow of electric currents. These materials are used in electrical equipment and battery packs. The purpose of the electrical insulation material, such as sleeving or spiral wound tubing, is to support and seperate electrical conductors or cells without passing any current through itself.
